Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer - these are the legal advisors who carry out the conveyance or the transfer of the legal title of the property from owner to new owner. This essentially is the Escrow process.

Surveyors or Valuers - they conduct the property valuation process. They may be acting for the lending institution or on behalf of the buyer. A buyer may choose to carry out an in-depth valuation on the property in which case the buyer would have their own property surveyor.

Mortgage Broker or Advisor - using a mortgage broker is the best way to shop for all the rates and products available for home buyers, first time buyers, buy to let and overseas investors. They are able to find you a loan that best suits your situation.

Mortgage Lender - the bank or financial institution lending the money for your purchase.

Vendor - is the seller who owns the property that is for sale.
